It's not for lack of trying, I'll tell you that! I'm trying not to get discouraged because I haven't lost any weight this week. I haven't been able to work out outside at all, since it's been snowing then raining all week. I have noticed that it's not as easy to lose the poundage as it was in the beginning, but I expected that.
I've read enough about weight loss to know that the first 10 pounds is water weight and then after that the true weight loss begins. Did you know that one pound equals 3,500 calories?! That's insane...but true.
tempting you with their cheesy, bacony goodness...
But, all in all, it's been worth it. Clothes that I couldn't fit into before are now a bit too big. Realizing you're starting to fit into your 'skinny clothes' is an excellent self esteem boost. I do like that I have energy now. I tend to fall asleep earlier since I've been so active that I wear myself out, but again, it's been worth it.
Wish me luck on these last 4.4 pounds, please. After that, I still have about 20 more pounds to go, but the 30 pound mark is my first goal. If I can do that, I think can knock out those last 20 too.
