How do you feel about kids being banned from places such as restaurants or airplanes?
-------

I don't agree with kids being "banned", per se.  I think that if a child is throwing a straight up tantrum in a public place, like a restaurant or movie theater, they need to be taken outside until the tantrum is over, so that you don't disturb the other people there.  You never know, your child screaming at the top of his lungs may be horribly irritating to most of the restaurant customers.  It's rude to just sit there and pretend it isn't happening.  If you kid needs a time out, take them somewhere to calm down before returning to your event.   I understand that if you're in an airplane, you don't exactly have a place away from the other passengers.  I'd take the child to the bathroom to calm down.  Tensions are high enough on a plane, I wouldn't want to make it worse on everyone else.
